Najran University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, has joined the partners of the National Center for E-Learning to contribute to the enrichment of open educational content on the national platform for open digital content, OERx. This platform is one of the capabilities of the National Program for Open Educational Content, which aims to sustain educational opportunities, enrich digital content, raise the quality of educational outcomes, and share knowledge. Where OERx is considered a free national platform available to all members of society, it allows building, reviewing and sharing educational content according to open licenses through which the original owner of the work is granted exclusive rights to use and publish the work. The National Center for E-Learning provides an opportunity for various entities to contribute to the enrichment of open educational resources to ensure the availability of multiple resources, whether educational, training or awareness-raising, in accordance with the quality standards of digital content, and from reliable entities. The importance of this platform stems from its support for the education process, the provision of reliable resources that promote self-learning and lifelong learning, and the investment of expertise.
