Asas initiative - E-learning and Distance Education Administration
In order to enrich the educational content and diversify the educational resources; Najran University, represented by the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education, participates with the National Center for E-Learning in the (ASAS initiative), which provides a model repository of courses for faculty members to enhance open educational content, as the ASAS repository includes more than a thousand educational clips, each of which aims to achieve a different educational goal One of the objectives of the general preparation courses is (Arabic language - Islamic culture - computer - English language), in addition to question banks containing more than 2400 questions, and the appropriate repository resources can be added to the course content on the e-learning management system (Blackboard) to enhance The quality of education and its outputs, and supporting the e-learning process. In this context, the Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, Dr. Khaled Al Amer, received a phone call from (Today's program), which is shown on Al-Ikhbariya channel, to talk about the Asas initiative, where he thanked the wise leadership for the permanent support in the field of education, and the National Center for their continuous initiatives that emphasize the quality of e-learning outputs, as Dr. Khaled explained, enhances the idea of the initiative, and that it is a new step in the university's endeavor to support faculty members in performing their mission within the strategic partnerships with the National Center.
