Introduction to the department:

The Systems and Technical Support Department is one of the departments affiliated to the administration of E-Learning and Distance Education. This department manages, maintains and updates the e-learning system - Blackboard - continuously. It also provides technical support service to all faculty and students in the university's colleges.

Department message:

Management and continuous updating of e-learning systems according to the latest technologies and providing technical support to beneficiaries according to best practices in order to achieve the vision and mission of the administration.

Department objectives:

The Systems and Technical Support Department aims to contribute to achieving the vision, mission and objectives of the administration of E-Learning and Distance Education through the following objectives:

1. Management of e-learning systems

2. Constantly updating e-learning systems

3. Providing technical support to beneficiaries through various channels

Department tasks:
 

1. Manage and operate the e-learning system (Blackboard) and ensure the effectiveness of the system continuously.
2. Regular maintenance of the Blackboard e-learning system
3. Updating the e-learning system (Blackboard) with periodic scheduling.
4. Receiving and responding to inquiries through technical support channels.
5. Managing and developing the administration's website.
6. Upload news and announcements of the administration on the website first.
7. Participate in the development of systems and technical support by submitting proposals and new mechanisms of action.

Department policy:

The Systems and Technical Support Section seeks to adopt a policy based on best practices and standards in the field of systems management and technical support.
