Dean’s Message
Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs
Dr. Muteb Masoud Mashraqy

Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the final Prophet... To proceed:

It is a great honor granted to me by Allah Almighty to serve this beloved nation, and to serve my blessed university through supporting its male and female students—who are the foundation of the nation and its greatest asset. Indeed, they are also the pillar of the university, for whom the colleges and various facilities exist. This places upon us a tremendous responsibility and obliges us to exert every effort in serving our students.

Our wise government has given utmost attention to the youth, placing them at the center of its strategic development plans to build a capable generation that contributes to the nation's advancement and competes globally. For this purpose, all means and resources have been made available.

The Deanship of Student Affairs serves as the primary incubator and caretaker of the university’s youth, bearing the great responsibility of shaping balanced individuals with a strong sense of national identity.

Driven by this responsibility, the Deanship—with all its staff—strives to support students in their academic journey and to provide them with all possible services and facilities, each within their respective area, with a welcoming spirit and a bright smile, reflecting our slogan: “Students First.”

The Deanship also works to continuously develop its student services and activity programs in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Our plans are grounded in developmental initiatives and projects that aim to fulfill the university’s vision and mission. These include student activity clubs, the Student Partnership Program, and the Student Rights Unit.

This development extends to other programs as well, such as male and female student housing, student nutrition services, the care of scholarship students, support for students with special needs, and the Student Skills Development Center.

As we know, development must be a continuous and dynamic process—one that is forward-looking and always seeking improvement. At the Deanship of Student Affairs, we hope for strong engagement from the beneficiaries of our services, and we welcome their feedback, suggestions, and constructive criticism, which will help us, God willing, in our journey toward improvement and excellence.

In conclusion, I thank Allah Almighty for all His blessings. I also extend my sincere gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their unwavering support of the youth in all fields. Special thanks go to His Excellency the University President, our direct supervisor and continuous supporter of the Deanship’s development and student services. I also thank the university vice presidents and my fellow deans—the partners in success—and especially my team at the Deanship of Student Affairs for their tremendous efforts in serving our students.

May Allah grant us all success in what pleases Him. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
