Deanship tasks - Deanship of Students Affairs
Duties of the Deanship:
The Deanship carries out the following core responsibilities:
- Offering a variety of student activities and programs that provide students with opportunities to gain knowledge, experience, and skills that prepare them for active participation both within and outside the university.
- Providing appropriate housing for students in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Delivering student services such as referrals to university hospitals and medical services, receiving medical reports and forwarding them to the relevant colleges, issuing travel discount letters, and communicating with government agencies regarding student matters.
- Providing subsidized meals for students in university restaurants and cafeterias, and supervising their quality and delivery.
- Offering catering services for university celebrations, official meetings, and academic events.
- Delivering social support to students in need through the Student Fund (including loans and financial aid).
- Collaborating with other university units in awareness programs, public services, and regional tourism promotion activities.
- Managing and organizing the disbursement of student allowances, including support for students with special needs and awards for outstanding academic
- performance.
