null The Deanship concludes the community training program “Protection”

On Thursday, 12/07/2023 AD, the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources, represented by the Administration of E-Learning and Distance Education, concluded the “Protection” training program, which it launched in conjunction with the Saudi and International Volunteer Day 2023 AD, and more than 1,300 trainees benefited from it. The program included three Training courses aiming to provide trainees with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of data shared in cyberspace, the most prominent risks and harms targeting users of smart devices, and how to prevent and deal with them, in addition to the importance of protecting children from addiction to using smart devices, and their most prominent health and behavioral effects. Educational and  technical solutions that may help reduce these damages. At the conclusion of the program, the impact of data on our lives, explaining its nature, and the negative and positive effects of sharing data over the Internet and through various programs.
This program stems from the widespread interest in volunteer work and unprecedented encouragement that is evident on December 5th every year. Because it is one of the prominent goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
